mailto:
What is it?
When
used in combination with Agent
Web E. Form™,
mailto: is the easiest way to start using
interactive forms on your web pages! If
you can receive e-mail, you can
start using interactive forms on your web
pages today!
In the
HTML code for your web forms, mailto:
defines an action that can occur when the
user presses the form's Submit button.
For
example,
<FORM
ACTION="mailto:info@owendigital.com"
METHOD=POST>
This
sends the contents of the form's fields
to info@owendigital.com via
e-mail when the user presses the form's
Submit button. It's that easy!
When
the form's contents (the e-form™)
arrive in your e-mail box, however, it
can be very difficult to decipher due to
encoding and the presence of so many
formatting characters.
Agent
Web E. Form™
removes those formatting characters,
translates the e-form™ into plain
ASCII, and then reformats the ASCII for
easy viewing.
With Agent
Web E. Form™, you
can start using forms on your web pages today
- no CGI programming, no
templates, no waiting! Just put your form
on your web page and you're ready to go!
There
are even sample forms included
in the free Agent
Web E. Form™ trial evaluation
download!
